The answer is , “no.” One of my first rules for nutrition and exercise is “Don’t lose muscle.” Fasting for multiple days undoubtedly increases the risk of muscle loss, and you can very likely achieve the same health benefits through intermittent fasting or other methods, so I’d have a hard time recommending it for a client.
